Okay people I'm back with a revision of this journal:
I didn't mean to be swearing at the intro, I wasn't calm mean I first made this journal and want to sincerely apologize for those that took it way too seriously.

That rumor it would shut down wasn't real entirely, it isn't a rumor at all but it was a scared speculation. So don't believe it and don't call me out for that scared tactic. It wasn't meant to be that.
Anyways back to what at hand.
And the fact of why of this in the first place:

EDIT Aug 6th, 2015: THE RUMOR WAS OFFICIALLY DEBUNKED! THE SITE IS NOT SHUTTING DOWN!
Also, I heard from a reliable source that DA is NOT in any kind of financial trouble to begin with! I made this journal entry in the assumption that deviantArt was trying to cover up for potential losses but that has since been proven to NOT be the case! They merely want more income, but are not covering up for losses.

And realize that "destroying core" and all of this "taking dA back to the way it used to be" is virtually impossible with half of the community split between wanting to put an end to what is basically the new premium membership plan, just painted orange with a five cent hike in the lowest membership option given compared to its old price of $4.95 a month.
